Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum production efficiency and minimal downtime. Primary responsibilities include servicing printing presses, converting equipment, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and performing basic PLC troubleshooting. The position also includes preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and performing general building and facility maintenance to maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient environment while supporting the ongoing functionality of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hands-on technical work and delivering exceptional service. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility . High School diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills and experience Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Repair conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and drive systems. Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, sensors, switches, contractors, and motors. Experience using hand tools, power tools, welders, grinders, and precision measuring instruments. Basic welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, or Stick) preferred. Knowledge of compressed air systems and industrial piping. Perform lubrication, alignment, and machine adjustments. Install and remove motors, pumps, and production equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders. General Building Maintenance Perform repairs to doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and flooring. Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and valves. Replace lighting, electrical outlets, and minor electrical components. Maintain systems through routine inspections and filter changes. Perform painting and general facility upkeep. Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, floor sweepers and other maintenance equipment. We Offer Competitive pay based on experience. Benefits package. Paid holidays and vacation.
