Facility and Vessel Maintenance Atlantic Coast Seafood, Inc Boston, MA Job Details Full-time $27 - $32 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Food processing plant experience Machine operation Safety regulations Industrial equipment repair Electrical maintenance Full Job Description Job Overview Responsible for the proper operation of a wide variety of complex machinery and equipment in the processing plant and fishing vessels.
- Responsible for specialized repair and maintenance in a particular discipline such as electrical and mechanical devices, hydraulics, plant operations, general facilities maintenance, processing equipment as assigned and as qualified.
- Maintains and repairs various equipment.
- May assist in the operation of ice machine systems.
- Responsible for having a firm knowledge of plant layout, and a firm knowledge of the systems and/or equipment related to their specialized discipline. Must be able to anticipate plant and vessel priorities as the situation arises.
- Contributes to the overall preventative maintenance program with the current framework of Atlantic Coast Seafoods, Inc.
- Completes speedy and effective production operations and facilities maintenance during plant downtime and provide well-arranged details of work tasks and contributes to the overall effort.
- Creates and maintains a safe working environment in accordance with company policy by closely monitoring the safe use of equipment and work habits in and around the work area.
