Duties Perform repairs and maintenance on building interior systems, including plumbing, electrical equipment, HVAC systems, and facilities equipment. Use hand tools and schematics to diagnose issues and execute repairs with precision. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repair to ensure optimal operation of water supply and drainage. Repair or replace electrical components using appropriate electrical work techniques and tools such as ohmmeters. Carry out maintenance painting and carpentry tasks to uphold building aesthetics and structural integrity. Operate welding equipment when necessary for structural repairs or fabrication projects. Assist with troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems to support facility operations. Support maintenance painting projects, residential painting tasks, and general building interior upkeep. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including schematics, maintenance logs, and repair documentation. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of all maintenance requests. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in facilities equipment maintenance. Proficiency in electrical work, including electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Experience with HVAC system repair and understanding of HVAC principles for diagnosing issues effectively. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for complex systems such as PLCs or electrical circuits. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting plumbing issues within residential or commercial settings. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures to optimize facility performance. Competence in carpentry tasks including building interior repairs or modifications. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients alike.
