Employment Type:

Full-time (shift schedule TBD) Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor / Plant Management Position Summary Install, maintain, and repair facility machinery, electrical systems, HVAC and related equipment. Fabricate replacement parts, perform advanced welding, millwright and fabrication tasks, diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical systems, and ensure safe, sanitary operations in accordance with

GMP/HACCP.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform all duties and tasks of Maintenance Technician 3.
• Advanced welding (MIG, Stick, TIG).
• Advanced millwright skills, including pipe fitting installation.
• Fabrication of guards, mounts, tooling and replacement parts.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, compressors; rebuild components and gear reducers.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and replace faulty relays in control cabinets.
• Replace roof and side window glass.
• Calibrate Ishida scales and understand equipment settings.
• Run wires in existing raceways and use all functions of electrical multimeter.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general construction tasks as needed.
• Work with automated conveyor systems, motor controllers, proximity switches, photo-eyes, and VFDs.
• Support robotic operation/maintenance and troubleshoot basic I/O functions.
• Read and apply schematics and blueprints; use diagnostic equipment (ohmmeters, voltmeters, etc.).
• Adhere to OSHA, LOTO, CSE, PPE, GMP and HACCP standards; maintain sanitary conditions and product quality.
• Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, management, customers.
• May assume shift lead responsibilities in their absence.
• Other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical field (preferred).
• Proficient with hand and power tools; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic understanding of 3-phase electricity and various pump types.
• Ability to structurally weld common metals.
• Working knowledge of motor controllers, low-voltage systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; highly motivated, resourceful, good judgment. Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems, controls and robotics.
• Familiarity with schematics/blueprints and advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting. Working Conditions
• Plant/warehouse environment; may require climbing, lifting, confined spaces, and exposure to noise, chemicals, and temperature variations.
• Must follow all safety protocols.

Compensation:
