Position Summary Responsible for performing all general maintenance work as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automated equipment repair, pump repair, pipe fitting, safety inspections and equipment preventative maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled
- Perform emergency repairs in breakdown situations
- Trouble-shoot & diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment and make necessary adjustments on electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all work performed
- Install, repair, rebuild, adjust and maintain machinery and equipment used in production which may involve the dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of parts.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment
- Perform building maintenance and repairs as needed to include pipe fitting and carpentry functions Qualifications
- Required continued education, or other trade/mechanical education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical ability, able to take basic electrical and mechanical principals and apply to hands on situations.
- Computer knowledge and ability to learn various software such as, E-Maintenance.
- Lockout Tagout experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
- Solid work ethic, ensuring a safe, clean work environment with a strong focus on quality and productivity.
Flexibility is a MUST - standard hours are 6am to 2pm. Hours may differ from time to time. Nights and weekends are occassionally required.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods of time.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift heavier items with assistance or mechanical devices.
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, elevated platforms, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to reach overhead and perform repetitive hand, arm, and wrist movements.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, vibrations, and outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to distinguish colors, read gauges and meters, and identify equipment parts and wiring when necessary.
- Ability to respond quickly to maintenance emergencies and move safely throughout the facility.
- Ability to wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respirators, and safety footwear.
- Must be able to work overtime, on-call schedules, weekends, and emergency call-outs as required.
