This energetic role is vital in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of our production equipment during the second shift. As a key player in maintaining machinery health, you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, contributing to our commitment to operational excellence and safety. Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing machinery using electrical and mechanical systems. Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery operates within specified tolerances. Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely for maintenance tasks at elevated or hard-to-reach areas. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues. Support field service activities when needed to ensure machinery uptime across the facility. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to uphold a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance or industrial mechanic roles with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, schematic reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Knowledge of industrial equipment repair techniques. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analyze electrical systems effectively. Skilled in welding techniques, including stick welding; experience with field service repairs is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Strong analysis skills to communicate effectively with team members and support operational needs. OSHA certification preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality maintenance work.
