Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Come join us at St. Patrick's Manor! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, 303-bed, Short and Long-term care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters. Located on lush, manicured lawns and gardens in Framingham, MA, we are just minutes from Route 9 for easy access to the Mass Pike. We are seeking to fill the position of Maintenance Technician - Full-Time . $18 to $23 per hour based on skills and experience. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance Director to maintain mechanical plant equipment and the physical environment of the building and grounds.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

Previous maintenance experience preferred, but will train. High School diploma or the equivalent. Ability to operate common hand tools. Knowledge and interest in working with elderly residents. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all building equipment. Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and refinishing work as needed. Do mechanical repairs on items such as hospital beds, lifts, stands, wheelchairs, commercial kitchen equipment, and commercial laundry equipment. Assist with snow removal using appropriate equipment, including snowplows. Assist with installation, maintenance, and up-keep of computers. Maintain equipment as necessary.
