Full Job Description Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, facilities, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond effectively to equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial control systems. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Experience working with control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives). Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic drawings. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and metal fabrication tools. Knowledge of industrial safety practices and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA standards, and NFPA requirements. High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred. Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and occasional weekends, as business needs require.
