Position Summary:

: This full time position reports to the Director of facilities and will be part of a team that maintains and improves the campus buildings and grounds. The Buildings and Grounds Crew Member will assist in the maintenance of plumbing, carpentry, boiler systems, landscaping, and snow removal and in the improvement of all of the School's physical assets.

This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required for emergency repairs or seasonal grounds prep (e.g. snow removal).

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and planned maintenance duties in all areas of the building and grounds work in its entirety, including maintaining records consistent with the maintenance work order system,(Mail run between campuses) Repair or make recommendations to supervisor on any defective equipment in his/her area of responsibility Perform a variety of building maintenance tasks across 3 campuses Complete projects requiring light carpentry, minor building repairs and assist with the upkeep of the buildings and grounds Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plumbing and electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Perform seasonal grass cutting, snow removal, and overall maintenance of grounds as required Maintain excellent communication practices with supervisor and all others as designated during performance of duties Maintain proper documentation practices for all assigned tasks, emerging issues, new discoveries and work related discussions Maintain and perform minor auto and equipment repairs on company vehicles and grounds equipment Italicized Text Interested applicants should apply on our careers page/via our email.
