Jobs › Medford, MA › Regional Maintenance Tech Winn Companies LLC Regional Maintenance Tech Medford, MA Apply WinnCompanies is looking for a Regional Maintenance Technician to join our Greater Boston team in the Medford area. Please note that this regional position may be assigned to any property in the portfolio and is expected to work at multiple sites in Medford, MA based on the need. In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in your assigned communities, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots. You will also lead and train other maintenance technicians on the team. The pay range for this role is \$30.00-\$32.00 per hour. The final pay rate will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate?s relevant experience, and other factors. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM with the ability to work on-call shifts if needed.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs in such areas as, but not limited to: appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic and HVAC. Lead and train other maintenance technicians. Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures. Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market ready in accordance with company standards. Assist Maintenance Supervisor in leading and assisting the completion of the preventive maintenance program, building and safety inspections and annual unit inspections. Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities. Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.
Requirements:
3-5 years of relevant work experience. A current driver\'s license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Ability to travel within assigned territory with occasional overnight stay. Excellent customer service skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic familiarity with computers and tablets. Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs. Ability to speak and understand basic English. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications:
