Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various systems including HVAC/R, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities, contributing to overall productivity and efficiency. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support regarding equipment functionality. Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Utilize schematics to understand system layouts and facilitate repairs or upgrades. Operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at elevated heights. Assist in the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide field service support as needed, responding promptly to maintenance requests. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on high voltage, low voltage, and electrical components. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in industrial settings. Experience with welding techniques relevant to manufacturing processes is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals in English. Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing problems effectively and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Military experience is a plus but not required; candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies within the industry.
