This would be a Mon-Fri position with traditional office hours and there would be some on-call work over the weekend as well, where you may need to field some calls. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of light mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Position Overview:

Responsible for the day-to-day physical upkeep, preventative maintenance, and repair of a 130-unit residential condominium community in Revere, MA. Ensures all common areas, building systems, and grounds are maintained in excellent, safe, and operational condition while delivering high-quality customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

General Repairs:

Execute minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs throughout common areas, hallways, and exterior grounds.

Grounds & Facilities Upkeep:

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of parking lots, walkways, trash rooms, and shared amenities. Handle snow removal operations and salting walkways during New England winter weather events.

Work Order Management:

Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests submitted through the property management portal, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.

Vendor Coordination:

Escalate major repairs to licensed contractors (plumbers, electricians, elevator techs) and oversee their on-site work as directed by the Property Manager.

Emergency Response:

Participate in an on-call rotation to handle after-hours property emergencies (e.g., major water leaks, security breaches, heating failures).

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on building maintenance experience, preferably within a multi-family residential, apartment, or condominium setting.

Skills:

Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, and general hand-tool operation.

Certifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
