Full-time Major Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair machinery and equipment, facilities and grounds in a manufacturing environment. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all equipment and machines function properly, adhering to safety regulations. Ability to work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ensure all shop equipment is on-line and running properly Conduct planned maintenance of shop equipment, vehicles, building and grounds maintenance Perform general maintenance of vehicles, shop machinery, fabrication equipment, miscellaneous tools, building systems and grounds maintenance Coordinate and oversee maintenance and/or repairs performed by outside vendors Maintain organized, clean and safe workspace Authorities Related to

Required Skills/Abilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
Install, repair, and maintain production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and sometimes hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
Collaboration:
Work with other technicians, engineers, and production personnel.
Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with industrial control systems (e.g., PLCs), technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify and resolve complex equipment issues.
Physical Abilities:
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
Safety Awareness:
Adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
Communication Skills:
Effective communication skills for collaborating with others. Adaptive personality and can pick up on things quickly Product of the trade and understands how things generally work and function mechanically Self-Starter; ability to stay busy in between jobs, cleaning is not below them. Ability to clearly communicate and explain tasks/problems to management and staff Ability to properly use repair tools and equipment Ability to safely and correctly operate yard vehicles such as forklifts, Combi-Lift, Skid Steers, etc. Ability to safely operate shop equipment such as saws, hand tools, etc. Good communication skills, able to work with others in a fast-paced production focused environment Comfortable with using technology in a paperless environment, including the use of administrative and production related software programs Quality and safety minded Position Qualification Minimums ( Education, Training, Experience ): High school or equivalent trade school educationspecific to truck/heavy equipment/machinery maintenance and repair State issued driver's license in good standing, CDL License preferable

Able to spend prolonged periods of time working on feet Able to spend prolonged periods of time using hand tools and performing repetitive actions that include frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and reaching Possess manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and use maintenance related tools Able to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
Work Environment:
Enclosed and well-ventilated environment with often extreme heat or cold conditions. Frequently works outside in extreme hot or cold temperature conditions. Five plus years of facility and general maintenance background Fork truck, overhead crane experience
