Job Description

Our client is looking to bring on a Maintenance Mechanic. This is a 1st shift direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Maintain all work order maintenance and repair documentation. Troubleshoot and test equipment to improve systems' uptime and reliability. Troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and control systems involving a systematic approach. They must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to employ safe work practices. Conduct appliance installation, repair, and servicing across various commercial or industrial settings. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects and support construction or upgrade initiatives when required. Demonstrated ability to operate maintenance tools, equipment repair machinery, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies effectively. Experience 5+ years working as a Maintenance Mechanic, Automation Technician or Maintenance Technician. Trade school or equivalent training. Experience repairing and troubleshooting automated machines Automation/ Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs, robotic, mechanical and electronic systems. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior technicians or assisting in training new staff are advantageous.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.22 per hour
