Maintenance Technician

Hyde Tool in Southbridge MA., is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic.

Major Job Duties:

1)Responsible for daily preventative maintenance rounds 2)Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all hydraulic, pneumatic, and water systems in plant 3)Responsible for doing minor plumbing repairs 4)Responsible for sheet metal repairs and fabrication. 5)Responsible for using Oxy-acetylene torches and welding 6)Operate fork trucks and rig machinery 7)Responsible for processing recyclables 8)Responsible for processing hazardous waste. 9)Must have light carpentry skills, masonry skills. 10)Must stay up to date on all applicable licenses 11)Attend staffing meetings as required 12)Responsible for responding to spills and the prevention of spills 13)Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping at all times. 14)Promote and support the cooperative attitude and effort necessary for a teamwork environment 15)Responsible for maintaining and updating work orders and time sheets 16)Responsible to abide by all company policies and rules as set forth in the Employee Handbook. 17)Responsible for snow removal 18)Responsible for maintaining and preparing all equipment for use on a daily basis. 19)Responsible for following safety procedures, including the safe operation of all equipment, wearing Personal Protective Equipment when necessary, and reporting accidents/near-misses when they occur 20)Perform other duties and tasks as directed or required 21)Flexibility of shifting hours based on needs of you and the company.

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
