Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the seamless operation of our high-volume production lines by performing critical repairs and proactive maintenance. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will directly impact our facility's output, equipment longevity, and overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime on mixers, blenders, industrial ovens, and conveyor systems. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical equipment failures to restore production capabilities rapidly. Install and calibrate new plant machinery, ensuring all systems are stabilized and optimized for peak performance. Collaborate with production teams to identify safety hazards and quality bottlenecks, implementing effective technical solutions. Maintain accurate digital records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance metrics to support data-driven improvements. Perform specialized maintenance on warehouse material handling equipment, including forklift service and repair. Utilize welding and fabrication skills to support custom machine setups and structural repairs as needed. Required Skills Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, and electrical schematics. Strong background in mechanical assembly, pneumatics, and motor maintenance. Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and industrial GMP requirements. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills 1-5 years of hands-on experience in a food or beverage manufacturing setting. Advanced equipment diagnostics and root cause analysis capabilities. Experience with preventive maintenance management software and technical documentation.
