Maintenance Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician who will be responsible for rebuilding and repairing industrial equipment. This role operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will have the opportunity to learn additional skills in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repair from factory-trained OEM technicians. Responsibilities Rebuild and repair industrial equipment. Operate a variety of hand tools, including power tools. Perform hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Handle building maintenance, cleaning, and other tasks as assigned. Essential Skills Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintenance. Proficiency in mechanical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance. Welding and sheet metal fabrication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Competence in installation and repair of heavy equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Professional, organized, and a team player with a positive attitude. Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn. Ability to plan, work efficiently, stay on task, and remain teachable. Reliable transportation and personal tools required. Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanics. Machine electrical knowledge and experience reading blueprints are a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley City, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
