Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment. You will work with 3 Phase motors, conveyors, presses, and more, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Perform electrical troubleshooting on systems ranging from 480V to 24V DC. Troubleshoot PLCs and robotics, including systems from Fanuc and ABB. Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic repairs. Execute daily preventive maintenance tasks when not addressing breakdowns. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to test 12V and 24V DC controls and 480V AC systems. Skill in reading schematics and ladder logic. Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred, with an associate's degree. Entry-level candidates with a degree may be considered; otherwise, 10 years of experience is required. Multi-skilled experience in electrical (480V), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems preferred. Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Welding (MIG) and conduit bending skills are a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work within a large Tier 1 automotive supplier to Toyota in a highly automated environment. While the facility is non-temperature controlled and can be very hot year-round, it is clean and well-lit. Employees are required to wear cut-proof, long sleeve jackets in many areas. The environment is fast-paced and can be stressful as meeting deadlines is crucial. Equipment includes advanced robotics (Fanuc and ABB), conveyors, pumps, presses, and ovens. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danville, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
