Job Description
Job description: Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing facility as an Industrial/Mechanical Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the mechanical components of industrial machinery used in rubber roller manufacturing. This includes lathes, mills, CNC machines, grinders, extruders, rubber processing equipment, and custom production machinery. The role focuses on mechanical repair, machine alignment, and equipment reliability, with welding skills required for fabrication and repair tasks. A welding test will be administered as part of the interview process. Prior experience in a manufacturing/production facility is required.

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly. Repair or replace defective parts using welding, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to restore equipment functionality. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage circuits, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks efficiently. Conduct field service activities across the manufacturing facility, including working with HVAC/R systems, forklifts, and other industrial equipment. Collaborate with production teams to support manufacturing processes while ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times. Requirements Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment with strong mechanical knowledge. Demonstrated electrical experience with industrial electrician background; familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems essential. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, schematics reading, welding, and precision measuring instruments. Proficiency in troubleshooting using analysis skills along with tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and field service operations in a manufacturing setting. Ability to work safely at heights using equipment like scissor lifts; familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Valid certification or experience in industrial maintenance or related technical fields; experience working with high voltage systems preferred.
