The ideal candidate has experience building and repairing wood and composite decks, follows plans accurately, and takes pride in producing safe, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, install, repair, and replace residential or commercial decks Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, and vinyl decking materials Install footings, posts, beams, joists, stairs, railings, and trim Read project plans, specifications, and material lists Operate hand and power tools safely Maintain a clean and organized jobsite Follow building codes and company safety procedures Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality standards Maintain clean and organized work areas on job sites Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous deck-building, carpentry, framing, or construction experience preferred Knowledge of wood and composite decking systems Ability to read a tape measure and make accurate cuts Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team
