Hotel Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing issues in a timely manner. Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure. Maintain and repair hotel fixtures, furniture, and equipment, ensuring all areas are functional and safe. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prolong the life of equipment and facilities, following established schedules. Keep maintenance records updated, logging completed work and tracking inventory of supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in maintenance or trades preferred. Proven experience in building maintenance, particularly in a hospitality setting. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and evaluate repair needs effectively. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with guests and team members. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
