Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent service to both internal teams and external clients. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize logic controllers and schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure efficient operations. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and clients, delivering exceptional customer service. Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in building systems maintenance. Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in building maintenance. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions. Leadership qualities with experience supervising maintenance teams or projects. Ability to read and interpret schematics for various building systems.
