Job Description

Sazerac Company is seeking a Night Maintenance Technician to keep our high-volume spirits manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support line changeovers to maximize uptime. You'll document work, partner closely with production, and uphold strict safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on, field-based role in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with opportunities to learn, improve processes, and grow your maintenance career on iconic brands. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic production equipment during night shift to minimize downtime Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on bottling, packaging, and process systems according to schedules Support line changeovers, setups, and adjustments to meet production requirements and quality standards Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and findings in the maintenance management system Collaborate with production operators and leadership to prioritize work orders and resolve recurring equipment issues Follow and enforce all safety, quality, and regulatory procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA requirements Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to diagnose equipment problems Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or parts as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and support 5 S and housekeeping standards Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Electrical troubleshooting Mechanical systems repair Pneumatic and hydraulic systems PLC basics and controls Preventive maintenance (PM) Welding and fabrication Root cause analysis Safety and LOTO procedures Technical documentation
