In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and facilities management tasks across residential properties. Your expertise will ensure that all building systems and interior spaces are functioning optimally, contributing to resident satisfaction and property value. This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Perform repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, hand tools, electrical equipment repair techniques, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Execute carpentry tasks such as maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door/window adjustments, and other building interior maintenance activities. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and other essential systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately; employ tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing. Lead small projects or assist with larger maintenance operations while adhering to safety protocols; demonstrate leadership in team settings when needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally while maintaining clear communication throughout the process. Requirements Proven experience in residential or facilities maintenance with knowledge of HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools and electrical equipment repair. Familiarity with schematics, building interior maintenance standards, MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) procedures, and the use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics; proficiency with electrical work including troubleshooting using ohmmeters. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions and updates to residents and team members. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Valid experience with facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC systems (including HVAC system repair), plumbing systems (including plumbing system maintenance), electrical equipment repair, and general building upkeep.
