Job Description
Full Job Description Job description Responsible for all general building maintenance and repairs, trouble shoot and perform repairs on machinery as necessary. Oversee and directs subcontractor activity, communicate project requirements, and signs off on work completed. Inspect and review completed work to ensure it is performed to our satisfaction prior to sign off. Assist and or perform preventative maintenance on building mechanicals as well as machinery requiring specialized skill set that is outside the machine operator's capability. Essential Job Functions Identifies and performs necessary repairs and potential problems related to the safe operation of facilities. Defines and ensures standard daily work is performed to expectation. Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommends measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment. Schedules, performs, and directs repair and maintenance required on building to ensure continuous operation of the facility. Ensures that workspace, machinery and tools are clean, organized and meet all safety requirements. Provide weekend and overtime coverage as schedule demands. Qualifications Performs other job duties as assigned. Must have at least 2 years of experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting Minimum of 2 years' experience with general building electrical, mechanical, general carpentry, building maintenance/repair, and machine mechanical aptitude. Must have general knowledge of PLC trouble shooting and programming. Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics. Must be familiar with safety standards including LOTO. Must have working knowledge and experience with building electrical systems. Must have basic computer skills (email, word processing, etc.) Must have the ability to complete, organize, maintain and file paperwork. Must have the ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience. Must be reliable and dependable.
