An established property management company seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team at a premier apartment community in Belleville, Michigan. We're looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, values professionalism, and is committed to providing exceptional service to our residents. Whether you are an experienced maintenance professional or someone with strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow your skills, we can be the job for you. Position Overview As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and community team to ensure our property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. This hands-on role is responsible for completing maintenance requests, preparing apartments for new residents, maintaining grounds, and contributing to the overall success of the community. Key Responsibilities Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily property operations and maintenance activities Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community Prepare vacant apartments for new occupancy, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and inspections Maintain the appearance and safety of community grounds and common areas Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal and ice control Identify and report maintenance concerns to ensure timely resolution Support community goals through teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service Preferred Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and general maintenance knowledge Experience with one or more of the following: Plumbing Electrical repairs Drywall repair Painting General apartment maintenance Strong work ethic and attention to detail Positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to providing outstanding resident service Employment Requirements We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
