Job Description

Legacy is seeking a dependable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support a 98-unit, market-rate community in Howell, MI. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning property for our residents. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the property, including grounds maintenance, unit repairs, and timely completion of work orders. The ideal candidate is hands-on, responsive, and committed to delivering high-quality service. This position requires flexibility, including availability for on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Qualifications At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair Experience with drywall repair and painting required Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ability to build positive working relationships with team members and residents Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required An Equal Opportunity Employer , our employees are our most valuable asset and Legacy is committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
