Job Description
Job description Otterbein Jackson, a non-profit senior living community, exists for the purpose of providing a quality continuum of care to enrich the lives of those we serve in a family environment. Our vision is to enhance the lives of seniors and their families by reaching beyond our walls through community partnerships and innovation.. This person will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical community. Conducting preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs, building upkeep, equipment & plumbing repairs, and security. Temporary only
Responsibilities:
- Performs general maintenance duties; fixing wall covers, floor covers, furniture and fixtures, light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
- Maintain all painting and refurbishing projects.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance.
- Assists with snow removal efforts and outside grounds/property work as needed.
- Must be committed to providing excellent customer service and to Vista Grande Villa's Standard of Performance.
- Completes work order request within the time frame assigned by supervisors.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of in the event of emergencies.
- Maintain and support security of the facility and its occupants.
- All work is to be performed in a professional manner, including high quality work practices, safety, neatness, thoroughness, follow up and clean up.
- Works cooperatively with staff from all departments.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated skills in all aspects of preventive maintenance High School Diploma or Equivalent Technical Schooling and/or background preferred Ability to understand and follow work instructions Strong interpersonal skills required Attendance and Punctuality is a must Must clear pre-employment screen, i.e. background/drug screenJob Type:
