Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are upheld, and operational downtime is minimized. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and other facility machinery to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct appliance repair and installation tasks, including refrigeration units, HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and kitchen appliances. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site visits or equipment transport as needed. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for parts and tools used during repairs. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems; lead small repair projects when required. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies; participate in safety training sessions regularly. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures related to HVAC & appliance technology. Hands-on experience with appliance installation and maintenance across various equipment types. Mechanical knowledge of complex systems including air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical machinery. Ability to operate construction tools and perform equipment repairs in diverse environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices is preferred. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
