Position Description and Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:
Basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing automation control systems
Collaborate with maintenance, facilities, and vendors to resolve production issues
Adhere to all company safety, PPE, GMP, and food safety regulations
Maintain familiarity with the layout, processes, products, and equipment of one or two facilities
Use the inventory system to locate controls spare parts
Maintain regular communication with supervisor
Document control system changes and problem resolutions
Arrive and depart according to scheduled work hours unless otherwise approved
Complete required compliance training annually
Complete preventative maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and technical documentation
Skilled in the safe and correct use of tools such as multimeters, computers, and basic hand tools
Proficient in troubleshooting basic AC and DC circuits
Ability to troubleshoot motors controlled by contactors, VFD's and servos
Basic understanding of industrial communication networks
Basic understanding of safety circuits
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Soft Skills:
Clear and professional communication with peers, operators, and supervisors
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction
Self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently
Education & Experience:
Required:
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of maintenance or technical experience troubleshooting, maintaining, or building electrical control systems in automated production equipment
Familiarity with PLC systems (Rockwell Automation products preferred)
Preferred:
