Full Job Description Job Description:
Apartment maintenance technician provides preventative and reactive maintenance in a variety of trades related to apartment maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, and equipment repair. Maintenance technicians are responsible for both maintaining and repairing occupied units plus preparing vacant apartments up to our standards for upcoming move-ins within the assigned time frame assigned by the property manager.
•On-Call Pay $210/week ($30 per day)

Responsibilities:
Assist with completion of daily resident work orders Perform general maintenance and upkeep requests as directed by Property Manager Prepare upcoming move-ins (painting and general maintenance of upcoming apartments) Comply with all established site safety and hazardous communication standards Perform property inspection checklists Perform on-call as part of on-call rotation schedule
Skill Requirements:
Positive attitude Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills Detail oriented Must possess basic organizational and time-management skills Must be available for after hours and weekends for on-call responsibilities (rotating schedule) Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to adapt to change
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat) Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 25lbs, frequently up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally Must be in physical condition to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, climb stairs, and grasp
