Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and appearance of our property. This role includes general maintenance responsibilities with a strong focus on painting, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry) Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting projects Patch drywall, sand, prime, and apply paint finishes Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with regulations Qualifications Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred Experience with painting (prep, finishing, different surfaces) required Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Physically able to lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs] and perform manual tasks Reliable transportation is an asset Preferred Skills Experience in senior living communities is a plus Familiarity with safety standards and procedures Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
