Job Description

Manistee National Golf and Resort is currently taking applications for full-time and part-time building and pool maintenance. The job consists of the following:
  • Maintenance and repair of the many buildings and cottages at the resort.
  • Pool maintenance and repair.
  • Ordering and obtaining supplies and materials to do repairs.
  • Seeing that subcontracted jobs are scheduled and carried out.
  • In season, the job will require at least a half day worked on the weekends.
  • Full-time in season would be 40 hours or more, off-season 40 hours or less.
  • Part-time would be seasonal. A good candidate must have the following
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and work well with others.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • Multitask, and be reliable and flexible.
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is required.
  • Must have drivers license and ability to drive to get supplies.
  • Obtaining a pool operator license is a plus.
For the right candidate, there is room for growth within the company. There is some flexibility in the scheduled hours if our guests' needs are taken care of. Wage will be dependent on experience.
