Maintenance Technician for Hotel

Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, including wiring, switches, outlets, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Perform welding, residential painting, and other general repairs to maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of the hotel. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults or mechanical malfunctions. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed on time. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality, manufacturing, or residential setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general repair techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics for automation troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics accurately. Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and customer service interactions. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to coordinate maintenance tasks efficiently.
