Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our property. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, ensuring all systems function efficiently and repairs are handled promptly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a dynamic hospitality setting. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, appliances, and structural components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct residential painting, welding, and other repair tasks to maintain the property's aesthetic standards. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults accurately. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including supervising team members or contractors when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes during all maintenance activities. Respond swiftly to guest requests or urgent repairs to uphold excellent customer service standards. Lead small teams during maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership skills while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Plumbing issues Pool/Hot tub maintenance Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Electrical experience including troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general repair work. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination. Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately. Pool chemical levels knowledge Plumbing experience Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
