Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (Plastics Industry) Intelligen-Ashlor Staffing is looking for two full-time Maintenance Technicians for a Midland, MI company that are responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role is critical in supporting safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems to ensure the smooth operation of machinery in the plant.

Key Responsibilities Production Support:

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.

Repairs:

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.

Technical Troubleshooting:

Utilize mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.

Documentation:

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Preventative Maintenance:

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

Tool Usage:

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

Safety & Compliance:

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Report faulty operations or unusual situations to proper supervision.

Required Skills & Experience Extruder Expertise:

Specific experience with twin screw extruders is highly preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

Proven experience in machine repair, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.

Machinist Skills:

Ability to perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

Versatility:

Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Additional Requirements Exemplary attendance and punctuality Maintain accurate records and prepare maintenance reports. #LP123
