Job description Job Summary Four Leaf Properties is one of the fastest growing owner/operators of manufactured housing communities (MHC) in the Unites States. As a regional "niche" operator, we support a high-touch model based on strong onsite management, close relationships with local municipalities and strict operational governance. Opportunity for an experienced maintenance technician to work on-site at Summerhill Village in Mount Pleasant, MI. Experience working with Manufactured Homes/Communities is a plus! An ideal candidate will have basic-to-intermediate knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical repair work commonly done on homes. Certifications are a plus but not required. Responsibilities and Duties Maintenance/rehab responsibilities typically include repair or rehab work of existing property, painting, drywall installation and repair, sub-flooring repair, plumbing, basic electrical work, winterization of homes, grounds maintenance, responding to resident requests and completion of basic work orders. Position reports to Property Manager. Qualifications and Skills Experience needs to include: property/grounds maintenance and equipment operation, light construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing repair. Communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, work completion, independence, project management and customer service/client satisfaction are critical for success in this role. As a successful Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Execute assignment work orders and report status to Property Manager timely and efficiently.
- Perform maintenance to ensure homes and common areas are in proper condition.
- Dispose of garbage around common areas and main entrance as needed to maintain community appearance.
- Perform and repair community sewers and water lines.
- Remain available for (on call) duties as needed.
- Maintain all maintenance and ground equipment to keep clean and cared for.
- Advise Property Manager of residents who do not properly dispose of trash or maintain their lawn or have bulk items storage outside.
