This is done by maintaining a clean environment free of hazards and creating a comfortable environment for the residents. In order to do this, maintenance technicians need to have knowledge of the community, and its operations. This includes but is not limited to knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and knowledge of the community grounds, and equipment. The technician needs to be able to be a part of a team, have good time management skills, pay great attention to detail, have good problem solving skills, and interact well with others to create a positive environment for the residents. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Repair of damaged equipment, property. Maintenance of HVAC systems. Maintenance of electrical systems. Maintenance of plumbing systems. Removing and preventing hazards to residents such as tripping hazards, and salting pathways.

Unit turns:

Walkthrough and preparation of unit for new resident. Preventative maintenance. Grounds care, pick up trash Responding to general maintenance requests of residents.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Maintenance Technicians need to know how to work with HVAC systems. Have basic understanding of electrical safety. Be able to pass maintenance technician exam. Technicians must have the ability to problem solve. Must be able to operate a computer.

Preferred Qualifications:

Maintenance Technicians must have knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing. Must be able to operate a computer.
