We'll need a little more to support to help install, coordinate, and maintain our facilities and equipment. To do this, we are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician who will be at the forefront of our new growth. This is a skilled position; however, we have a few positions available for different skills and experience level. Not all duties are tasked to one person but is the shared responsibility of the team. This position also offers growth potential and will support further training to achieve new skills, licenses, and certifications. This position is full time, 8 hour shift, flexible start and end times depending on assignment and overtime pay potential.
Snapshot of duties:
Install and maintain production machines and the facilities equipment. Create new machines or supporting structures to assist in improved quality production of products. Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service downtimes Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Mill, lathe, grind, etc. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic to troubleshoot and repair production machines. Create brackets and supports. Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawing and work directly with outside vendors to maintain and repair production equipment, while keeping costs low and determining return on investment over years to come. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as required Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilitates when requested. Use a variety of hand and power tools, welders, mill, lathe, electric meters and material handling equipment, forklifts, etc. Comply with all company, local, city, state and federal regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Work with a safety organizer to stay OSHA compliant. Other duties and projects as determined by production and business needs, property management, grounds maintenance, drain clearing, roof repairs, de-icing, etc. You're perfect for this job if you: Work well on a team, and know how to pitch in when things need to get done; you know how to take and give feedback to improve team dynamics Pay attention to detail, and anticipate problems before they become major issues Work smart, efficiently, and safely Know your way around most simple hand tools for woodworking, grinding etc. Can move between different tasks easily, and prioritize most from least important Work with purpose/hustle under deadlines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Five years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Fabrication experience of a least two years preferred Fork and lift truck, overhead crane, heavy equipment, experience preferred Computer skills with search engines, Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets and Gmail Higher level programming familiarity including PLC, HMI and controls logic preferred Must be able to lift, carry, push/pull 50+ pounds To learn more about who we are and what we do, please visit us at www.mantheiwoodproducts.com Thank you for your interest!
