Do you have 5-7 years of experience? If so, then look no further! DADCO is the global leader in nitrogen gas spring technology and we are looking for an individual to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have electrical knowledge and repair experience, as well as be able to plan and execute the schedule of preventative maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools and our facility. Inside our 141,500 square foot facility we manufacture a complete line of long-life nitrogen gas springs used in automotive, appliance and other industries in their metal forming and plastic injection molding operations. We are looking for a dedicated, dependable individual to fill a day shift, full-time opening in our facility located in Plymouth, Michigan. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, technical aptitude, and strong attention to detail. You must be team oriented, punctual and have a can-do attitude with a desire to succeed. Our facility strives for continuous improvement. DADCO is truly a state-of-the art plant. The work areas are kept very clean, always keeping safety and comfort as top priorities. The manufacturing floor is temperature controlled and filled with skylights. All positions provide a great opportunity for hands on experience. Work Schedule One Shift with Overtime Monday-Friday, 7:00AM - 4:30PM Every other Saturday, 7:00AM - Noon Paid Holidays Off Qualifications
- 18 years of age with a High School Diploma.
- 5-7 years of experience in facility maintenance.
- Ability to multi-task as this position requires a broad spectrum of knowledge and capability in equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- A "can-do" attitude and flexibility with tasks to be performed.
- Highly organized self-starter.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance, including lock-out procedures.
- Electrical and HVAC maintenance and repair experience preferred.
- Hydraulic Air Cylinder repair and maintenance experience a plus.
