Job Description
Job Summary We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Commercial Maintenance Technician to join Team M.E.M. This is a field-based position for someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to troubleshoot problems, and can handle a variety of maintenance and repair needs. Every day is different. You may be troubleshooting an electrical issue, repairing plumbing, fixing a door, handling a facility repair, or helping keep a commercial property running smoothly. We're looking for someone who can think on their feet, take ownership of their work, and get the job done right. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs at commercial facilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, lighting, outlets, panels, and related components Handle plumbing repairs involving fixtures, piping, drains, water heaters, and other systems Perform basic carpentry, including repairs to doors, frames, walls, finishes, and related items Inspect, maintain, and assist with repairs to HVAC systems Diagnose maintenance issues and determine practical solutions Complete multiple work orders throughout the day Communicate clearly with team members and customers Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Respond to on-call needs when required Required Qualifications Applicants must : Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no driving citations within the last 3 years Have their own basic hand and power tools needed for maintenance work Know how to safely tow, maneuver, and back up a trailer Have hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, handyman work, facility maintenance, or a combination of these trades Be able to work independently without constant supervision Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work Be able to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple work orders Be willing to be on call when needed Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic About M.E.M. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
