Your primary goal will be to keep our production lines running smoothly and safely while contributing to ongoing facility enhancements. This position requires a proactive, hands-on approach in a dynamic production setting, making it a perfect fit for a candidate who possesses a deep mechanical background and practical experience with industrial systems.
Working Hours and Compensation Shift:
Monday from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM; Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM Availability for extra hours as required
Hourly Compensation:
Initial rate between $26.65 and $29.85 per hour, depending on your background Rate adjustment to $27.72 - $30.91 per hour following a 90-day period Core Duties Oversee and inspect production machinery to guarantee consistent and secure performance Execute routine and proactive maintenance schedules for all manufacturing assets Diagnose and resolve mechanical malfunctions to minimize downtime Help with the integration and configuration of incoming production hardware Contribute to facility-wide initiatives that boost safety, output, and waste reduction Execute tool configurations, mold adjustments, and sampling tasks as required Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team Provide general upkeep for facility infrastructure and auxiliary equipment Professional Qualifications At least 3 years of direct maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing setting Proficiency in working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission components Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety protocols and LOTOTO procedures Fundamental skills in electrical diagnostics and repair Background in the installation and servicing of pumps, motors, compressors, chillers, and filters Solid mechanical skills including sheet metal work, pipe fitting, and welding Ability to utilize computer systems, touchscreens, and HMIs for research and documentation Background in plastics or foam production is considered an asset Prior experience with Desma, Hennecke, or Krauss Maffei machinery is a bonus Ideal Candidate Profile A dependable technician who takes pride in solving technical challenges An individual who excels in a high-speed manufacturing atmosphere A detail-oriented professional who prioritizes safety in every task A collaborative team member ready to assist production operations as necessary Physical Demands Capacity to remain on your feet, walk, crouch, and lift items during your shift Comfort working in close proximity to active industrial machinery Ability to execute necessary physical repairs and maintenance tasks safely
