This is a 2nd shift position from 3pm - 11:30pm. The position is based in Roseville, MI.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install and maintain the mechanical systems of the plants and/or repair machines or systems in accordance with engineering specifications, under supervision.
  • Ability to lube the equipment in the plant and follow instructions from lube manual.
  • Identify and repair mechanical problems as needed, to include replacement and repair of component parts (e.g. hydraulic/pneumatic line leakage).
  • Make temporary corrective repairs when necessary to offset excessive downtime or production delays.
  • Be able to generate a want/need list to include descriptive identification of material or parts required.
  • Observe and comply with safety precautions using systematic trouble shooting.
  • Repairs, maintains, and installs mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications such as presses, coilers, slug pushers, stranders, extruders, etc.
  • Ability to do minor electrical trouble shooting and repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with Company standards.
  • Completes and performs all other tasks necessary and/or assigned.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two years or more of related experience.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check
