• Full-time We are a local, family-owned restaurant company looking for a reliable Restaurant Maintenance Technician to help maintain multiple restaurant locations throughout the Metro Detroit area.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys fixing problems, working independently, and keeping restaurants running smoothly. The ideal candidate has experience with general building maintenance, light plumbing, light electrical, doors, hardware, equipment troubleshooting, and basic repairs. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in restaurant maintenance, apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, handyman work, facilities maintenance, HVAC helper work, or commercial building maintenance .

Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Performing general maintenance and repairs at restaurant locations on restaurant equipment including fryers, hot water heater, hot side, cold side, etc Troubleshooting basic plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, and hardware issues Repairing or replacing ceiling tiles, wall panels, tile, trim, fixtures, and other building items Assisting with basic restaurant equipment repairs Coordinating with outside vendors when needed Completing work orders in a timely and professional manner Picking up parts and supplies as needed Communicating clearly with managers and ownership Helping keep restaurants safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained Qualifications Preferred experience includes one or more of the following: General maintenance Handyman work Apartment or hotel maintenance Restaurant or retail maintenance Light plumbing Light electrical HVAC/R troubleshooting Commercial kitchen equipment repair Door, lock, and hardware repair Basic carpentry, drywall, tile, or building repairs

Requirements:
