Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various construction and fabrication tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This position requires a hands-on approach, with attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Candidates will be taught various skills of the trade to grow within our family-owned company. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and organization of materials for construction projects. Support skilled tradespeople with tasks related to stucco countertop fabrication. Help the Saw Operator with loading and unloading saw tasks. Maintain a clean and organized shop, always adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment. Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment is preferred. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new techniques. Join us as we build excellence together!
