Our facilities include turf fields, gym spaces, and common areas. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our spaces safe, clean, and operating at a high standard. Position Summary The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, janitorial duties, and upkeep across 2SP facilities. This role helps provide a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for athletes, guests, and staff. Key Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repairs. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Perform janitorial duties at the Madison Heights facility twice per week and the 2SP Fieldhouse twice per week, including cleaning and maintaining training spaces, restrooms, and common areas. Maintain turf areas and gym spaces as needed. Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed. Assist with event setup and breakdown when required. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance storage areas. Follow safety procedures and help keep facilities compliant with applicable requirements. Respond to urgent maintenance issues as needed. Qualifications Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between our facilities is required Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. Preferred, But Not Required Prior experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or janitorial work. HVAC or trade certifications.
