Monday through Friday, 7AM to 4PM with a 1 hour lunch break Job Summary/Objective of Job The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the building and its systems, ensuring a safe, efficient, and functional work environment. This role includes performing routine inspections, addressing repair needs, and supporting the installation of new equipment. Summary of Essential Job Functions Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components and equipment. Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on major repairs, projects, and improvements. Collaborate professionally with outside vendors, contractors, and service providers. Fabricate, install, or modify equipment as required. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
