Maintenance Technician

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance to support a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and infrastructure, contributing directly to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems and ensure optimal performance. Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Lead or support team efforts in manufacturing environments by ensuring equipment reliability and safety compliance. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support. Assist with supervising junior technicians or apprentices, fostering a collaborative team environment with leadership skills. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings. Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical circuits, wiring, and control systems. Mechanical knowledge of machinery repair, welding techniques, and equipment calibration. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, PLC programming, CMMS software, and ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with residential painting or general building upkeep is a plus. Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance team is desirable but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork coordination.
