North Ridge is part of the Mission Health Communities Health Care Facilities. Mission Health owns and operates 50+ facilities throughout the country. Visit us at www.missionhealthcommunities.com The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the physical plant. Responsible for all functions required to keep physical facility in good repair and safe for residents, staff, and visitors. Conducts a variety of preventative and restorative maintenance duties. Follows established Federal, State, County and City codes and regulations. A High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent is required. We prefer at least 2 years of experience in a similar position with knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs, general contraction knowledge and general maintenance procedures. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. With the knowledge to operate a computer and communicate effectively. Additional responsibilities may include managing the preventative and restorative maintenance including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repair, repair requests for assigned areas including repair of wheelchairs, beds, light fixtures, etc. Painting, patching drywall, replacing ceiling and floor tiles and minor electrical repairs, replacing lighting and light fixtures, plumbing repairs, reporting, and recording information pertaining to preventative maintenance; keeps facility grounds clean. upholds facility policies and procedures; maintains the Life Safety Binder and Emergency Plan, conducts fire and disaster drills, and all other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform physical job demands of position. Requires the ability to exercise confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We are committed to offering a competitive wage for this position based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package. Hourly range is $20-$25.00 based on experience Full time 8am-4:30pm and oncall rotation.
