Facilities Technician Full-Time | 4-Day Workweek | Day Shift Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? Join a stable manufacturing team where you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly—and grow your skills in facilities and light industrial maintenance along the way. What You'll Do You'll help maintain and improve the facility by handling a mix of building upkeep, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance: Perform general maintenance (lighting, minor plumbing, repairs, cleaning) Keep work areas organized, clean, and efficient Complete basic carpentry projects and facility repairs Handle painting, drywall patching, and touch-ups Maintain building and grounds (inspections, minor fixes, upkeep) Support basic industrial maintenance and equipment care Change filters and assist with simple HVAC upkeep Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance on equipment Operate floor-cleaning equipment (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing) Remove trash/recycling and maintain clean workspaces Assist with light welding or fabrication projects (if experienced) Identify improvement opportunities and help implement solutions Follow all safety practices and procedures What We're Looking For Experience in facilities maintenance, building upkeep, or similar hands-on role Comfortable with basic repairs (lighting, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting) Familiar with tools and general maintenance equipment Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping things organized Ability to troubleshoot basic facility issues Self-motivated and able to work independently Nice to Have (Not Required) Welding or metal fabrication experience Exposure to industrial or mechanical maintenance Interest in growing into a more advanced maintenance role Work Environment & Schedule Manufacturing shop environment (~40 employees) Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)
